Giveaway

The Giveaway feature allows you to create exciting giveaways during your livestreams to engage with your audience and reward your viewers. You can manage giveaways through both chat commands and the convenient web interface.

Managing Giveaways via Web Interface

The giveaway tab provides a user-friendly interface to manage all aspects of your giveaways without needing to use chat commands. Simply head over to your Dashboard and navigate to the Giveaway tab.

Starting a Giveaway

To start a new giveaway:

1. Enter the keyword viewers must type in chat to enter (without the "!" prefix)
2. Set the duration in minutes for how long the giveaway will run
3. Configure the subscriber luck multiplier to give subscribers better chances of winning
   • A value of 1 means no advantage
   • A value of 2 means subscribers have 2x the chance to win
   • A value of 5 means subscribers have 5x the chance to win

Once you click "Start Giveaway", an announcement will automatically be sent to your chat letting viewers know how to participate.

Active Giveaway Management

While a giveaway is running, you can:

• View real-time countdown: See exactly how much time is left
• Monitor participants: Watch as viewers enter the giveaway
• Search entries: Find specific participants using the search box
• See subscriber status: Easily identify which participants are subscribers
• End early: Stop the giveaway before the timer expires if needed

The participant list automatically refreshes every 5 seconds to show new entries.

Winner Selection

When a giveaway ends (either by timer or manually), the bot automatically:

1. Closes entries to prevent new participants
2. Randomly selects a winner based on the configured luck multiplier
3. Announces the winner in chat
4. Displays the winner in the web interface

Previous Giveaway Features

After a giveaway ends, you can:

• View the winner: See who won the last giveaway
• Copy settings: Click the copy button to reuse the keyword and subscriber luck from the previous giveaway
• Reroll winner: If needed, you can select a new winner from the same participant pool

Important Notes

• Only one giveaway can be active at a time
• Participants can only enter once per giveaway
• The web interface automatically detects giveaways started via chat commands
• Winners are selected fairly using a random algorithm that respects the subscriber luck multiplier
